Our task today was to bring these words to life give it characteristic and personality. I did this for mistake by putting a line through it and making the letter unequal, for falling I arranged the letters so it looked like it was 'falling' from a balcony, for Madness I put the words all over the place creating a mess and confusion, for Globe I arranged the letters so it looked like it was about to form a circle, and I used the earth instead of an 'O' to create for effect and to make it look good. Finally for Emperor I made it bold capital letters and straight so it looked important.

camera shots

Medium Shot
This is a medium shot, only his head to his waist is visible; this makes the viewers focus on the background which in this case is of a wall suggesting that it is in a secret location automatically creating a urban, street risky atmosphere. Virmal as the drug dealer receives a call from Fasih wanting to buy drugs.

Close Up Shot
This close up shot allows the viewer to focus on the facial expression so they can create there own perception of what they think is going on. Fasih calling a drug dealer (Virmal) so he can buy some drugs.

Long Shot
The long shot shows the background and also people from head to toe. This picture shows Virmal and Fasih making the deal .

Medium Shot
this medium shot shows the background showing it is in an isolated/ secret location. This shows fasih and Virmal completing their trade and them departing from each other, leaving Virmal with a phone call to make more deals.

Winter?......

My Winter Themed Bowl.....

I chose to make my fruit bowl winter themed. I achieved this by putting at lot of cool blue colours and adding some dark blue to represent ice. I used light colours like white to represent  snow also I used grey to represent the colour of the cloud when it is about to rain.

Analysing of a game using LIAR…

Language;
The effect d by The tittle, the packaging of the game,  background image creates a sense of interest to young boys in particular. The guns helicopters and awesome cars on the cover of the game creates a sense of adventure making the person to buy the game in order to feel that adventure and experiences they might never have. The word ‘Grand’ suggests that is big, the main event this attracts young people into buying it as they like the latest thing. The men in suits shows sophistication the effect that this might have on the players is it might make them feel mature and “grown up” because most of their buyers are young. The genre of this game is action-
adventure and this is also shown on the cover by all the guns and cars.

Institution;
The game was developed by ‘rockstar’ and is available on Playstation and XBox. This game is multinational because it’s available in big brands and it is also big therefore successful because it sold over a 3.5 million copies in the uk.

Audience;
This game is targeted at mostly young men stereotypically because there is action/adventure. The background and the picture can attract young men into buying this product, but I will say that at least 3% of the buyers might be females that are into adventure and violence.

Representation;
The men in suits on the cover shows sophistication the effect that this might have on the players is it might make them feel mature and “grown up” because most of their buyers are young, the cover also shows the genre because of the guns and scary looking guys.

Summary for a videogame...

 Hey guys this summer was a very boring summer and because of boredom and the fact that I watched every movie on Netflix I started playing lots of different games on my brothers ps3 some of it was fun like GTA (stealing cars, driving and bashing into everything and shooting everyone around the street) some were boring like FIFA13 (a never ending game…) and finally the one that made my summer NBA 2K13( a very addictive game)
The key information about the game:
Genre- it is a sport game/ basketball game that has allot of great basketball teams featured in it.

Platform- this game has been released in allot of platforms these include; XBOX 360, Wii, Wii U, PlayStation 3 and a shorter version of it can be downloaded as an app on android or apple.
 Price- it is an average price of £29.95
Release date- it was released on the UK on 28th December 2012
Reviews- on average basketball lovers have claimed that it is a very good game and is very addictive.
9.5 copies were sold the USA within a couple of months after the release date the game was released and created by jay Z, but was developed by 2K sports.
The game was promoted/ marketed by many different ways; YouTube, twitter, MySpace and Facebook.

Twitter:

MySpace:

Facebook:

The target audience for this game is basketball lovers from the age 10- 28, but it was made easy so people who are not basketball lovers can understand too, this product was created to suite everyone but I believe its main target audience is young people.
This game is very successful as it sold over 9.5 million copies in the US and because of that result it is obvious that the promotion campaign worked, there is a sequel scheduled to be released on 2 October 2013 and it is called NBA 2K14.
What I liked about this game;
The reason I liked this game was A) I beat my brother at it a couple of times and B) it was very easy to learn how to control it therefore they made it easy so anyone can play it.
What I didn’t like about the game;
The only thing I did not like about this game was the long intro at the beginning of every game.
I would recommend everyone to get the NBA 2K14 because I believe it is going to be amazing because if the 2K13 was this great imagine how phenomenal the 2K14 is going to be, I know I can’t wait for it to come out.
